Nothing is charged on this website

A booking request is not a payment. You send your dates and details, we call you back to confirm the room, and you pay at the desk when you arrive. A deposit is only asked for when the booking covers a whole wing, the conference hall, or a holiday weekend.

How a booking is confirmed

When you submit the availability form you get a reference number. That reference means the request reached us — not that the room is held. It is held when someone from the resort confirms it with you by phone or WhatsApp, which is normally within a few hours inside office hours.

Cancellations

Tell us as soon as you know. There is no charge to cancel a room that you cancel more than 24 hours before arrival. Inside 24 hours we hold the room for the night and ask you to cover it, because a room that is held cannot be sold to anyone else.

Group programmes with the hall, the rafting run, or a bonfire booked for a fixed group need 48 hours notice.

Deposits

Where a deposit is taken, it is 25% of the booking, paid by bank transfer or eSewa before arrival. It comes off the final bill. If a booking is cancelled inside 24 hours of arrival, the deposit is not returned.

Changes

Dates can be moved once at no cost if you tell us more than 24 hours ahead and the room is free on the new dates.

Children and extra beds

Children under ten stay in their parents' room without an extra bed. An extra bed, where the room type allows one, is charged at a quarter of the room's rate. The dormitory is charged per person.

If the river runs high

In the monsoon the pool may close and the rafting trip may be shortened for safety. We tell you before you arrive when that is the case, and a room booking is never cancelled on account of it.
